The Oxford Population Health podcast, Science with Sanjula, launches today with two episodes featuring interviews with Professor Sir Richard Peto and Dr Mehrunisha Suleman.

Every week, Oxford Population Health’s Dr Sanjula Singh interviews a different leader in global health about how they are tackling the world’s biggest challenges in healthcare.

In the first episode, "Halving premature death”, Sanjula speaks to Professor Sir Richard Peto, Emeritus Professor at Oxford Population Health, who describes half a century of seeking moderate reductions in big causes of death.

In the second episode, “Tackling racism and inequalities in healthcare”, Sanjula interviews Dr Mehrunisha Suleman, Director of Medical Ethics and Law Education at Oxford Population Health, about why tackling racism and inequalities in health and healthcare is so important, drawing on her research and experiences.
